A UV-C lamp removes single-celled algae and provides crystal clear water in salt and freshwater aquariums. It alsoinactivates bacteria and other aquatic parasites and thus reduces the risk of infection in your fish.
A controlled flow of water and the large volume of the aqua medic Helix Max 2.0ensure maximum effectiveness. The water flows through a spiral around the quartz tube, which leads to a more effective use of the UV radiation compared to other standard units.
The hose connections can be rotated 360 °, so that it can be attached at any angle. This saves space during installation.
Due to the simple disassembly of the unit, it is easy to clean the inner spiral.
