Aquatic Nature Ferti-stick First AID 10 Tabs aquarium plants nutrition sticks
Ferti sticks First Aid:
A compressed complete food in the form of sticks with the same characteristics as the Fertiplant ABF In addition to carbon dioxide and nitrogen, aquarium plants use micro and macro elements in their growth process.
Depending on the type, fast or slow growing plants, and the amount, a specific amount of important elements is absorbed from the substrate. Laboratory tests found that when Fertiplant ABF substrates were used, after 11 to 16 months, depending on the type of plants, growth slowed due to lack of elements, potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, cobalt, etc.
To supplement and make nutrients sufficient Aquatic Nature has developed the Ferti-Stick first Aid.
Macro elements and nitrogen-rich compounds are combined in a STICK form via a special processing method. In this way a slow and effective fertilization takes place that stimulates the growth of aquarium plants.
The Aquatic Nature Ferti-sticks are packed per 10 pieces in a special package that ensures that no negative influence on the product can arise.
The Ferti stick is pressed into the soil in the vicinity of the plant at a depth of 2.5 cm to 5 cm and a FERTI STICK takes care of an area of + – 40 cm² in a normally planted aquarium.
With a strongly planted aquarium or with an establishment with fast-growing plants: Ambulia, Ludwigia, Nymophyla, Bacopa, Cabomba, etc … the amount is doubled: 1 STICK per 20 cm².
With solitary plants such as certain Echinodorus species and or Aponogetums, Nympheas etc … the FERTI STICK is brought in the immediate vicinity of the plant.
It is recommended to use this course at least 1 to 2 x per year.
