Aquatic Nature Nitrate Stop M seawater effectively absorbs nitrate from the aquarium
In many marine aquariums the nitrate value (NO3) is too high. Several causes are the basis for this problem, including the use of tap water, too much
feeding, little water change, no filtering over activated carbon (acid crops), which causes an accumulation of organic substances, etc…
All this usually leads to a nitrate content, which far exceeds the ideal values of 15 to 20 mg/litre.
Lower animals such as leather corals, stony corals and giant clams need a certain amount of nitrate, but 30 mg/ liter and more should
be avoided, as unwanted algae growth can occur and at the same time the tissue structure of corals is disturbed.
USAGE: NITRAT STOP M from AQUATIC NATURE efficiently absorbs nitrate from the aquarium through ion exchange.
It is recommended to filter over an activated carbon for a week, thus absorbing organic substances and giving a faster effect to the NITRAT STOP M.
Rinse NITRAT STOP M granules with sea water (2.5 L for the 300 ml and 5 L for the 600 ml NITRAT STOP M).
Place the NITRAT STOP M from AQUATIC NATURE with the filter net in the aquarium/sump and ensure a good flow of the NITRAT STOP M.
NITRAT STOP M from AQUATIC NATURE is not regenerable and unsuitable for use in freshwater
