C-Balance 3,785 L
|*||Replenishes calcium, carbonate alkalinity, and salts in marine aquariums|
|*||Can be used as an alternative to “kalkwasser” or as a supplement to it|
Contains important trace elements
C-Balance from Two Little Fishies is a two-part, calcium and alkalinity maintenance system that adjusts calcium, magnesium, and strontium ions to natural seawater ratios, and achieves a balanced ionic residual. Makes replenishment of calcium and alkalinity easy, and keeps your calcium and alkalinity in perfect harmony, assuring the optimum conditions for growing stony corals and coralline algae. Packaged in two 500 ml (16 oz) or 946 ml (32 oz) bottles or as a concentrate in two 3785 ml (1 gal) bottles. 16 oz doses 1,900 gallons; 32 oz doses 3,800 gallons; 1 gallon concentrate doses 15,222 gallons.
Directions for use
Using the measuring caps provided, add equal amounts of part A & B to the aquarium, separately. Rinse the measuring caps with water between doses. Do not mix parts A & B together or with other supplements in dosing reservoirs. Depending on the rate of calcification, it may be necessary to add C-Balance daily, or only a few times per week. The dosage required is based on alkalinity, which should be maintained between 2.5 and 3.5 meq/L (7-10 dKH). Monitor with a reliable test kit.
Begin with 5 ml (1 tsp) of each part per 75 L (20 gal) of aquarium capacity per day. Pour into a strong current stream for rapid dispersal. Part B may cause temporary cloudiness.
1 ml per gal (3.8 L) per day, which corresponds to an increase in total alkalinity of 0.5 meq/L. Exceeding the maximum dose may cause the pH to rise too high temporarily. Divide the maximum dosage into at least two doses to avoid causing the pH to rise to quickly.
Precipitation of part B
When exposed to temperatures below room temperature some precipitation of part B may occur. The crystals go back into solution above 75°F (24°C). Store above 60°F (15°C).
Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and mouth. May cause moderate to severe eye irritation or corneal injury, which may be slow to heal. Repeated contact may cause redness and dry cracked skin. Store away from acids and metals. First Aid: Eye/Skin contact: Flush with water for 15 minutes. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
Keep out of reach of children. For aquarium use only. Not for human consumption. Not for use with fish or other animals raised for human consumption.
