The ORP probe has a BNC connector and is used to measure the REDOX value of the water. This is an important value when using ozone.

Double junction probes have a 2nd connection internally. This means that even when the aquarium enters water into the first compartment due to leakage, the probe still has to go through the second node to contaminate the electrolyte surrounding the reference electrode.
