Powerfilter gen 3 is a development of the popular powerfilter 2.0. The gen 3 has the biggest advantage that it has an adjustable pump and a magnet suspension. Magnet is suitable up to a maximum of 12mm glass. This is only useful if you hang the power filter and do not use it on the ‘ground’ of the sump.

**If the pump starts to hum, you can always turn it down a little. Our advice is to maintain a maximum of 80% and to apply some Vaseline to the axle for quieter operation.**
