An aquarium power filter is one of the basic principles of the DSR method. It's just a name for a strong pump with filter wool on the inlet. It removes pesky small particles and cloudiness from the water, preventing waste from settling in a low-flow area.
It is essential to manage optimal flow (not necessarily strong), to keep the dirt in suspension so that it can be collected by the power fliter. An optimally working power filter can provide a crystal clear result, without additional filter media.
An aquarium power filter needs a powerful pump. Minimum is required capacity: - 1000l / h for tanks up to 200l - 2400-3000l / h for tanks up to 1000l
