Reef Pearls are food pellets for filter feed and fish. These pellets are produced using a unique technique using agglomeration of microcapsules.ReefPearls are (zo) plankton mimic food pellets for fish, corals and other filter feeders. They have a neutral buoyancy, high nutritional value and contain low amounts of inorganic phosphates.

Reef pellets contain encapsulated particles that are stable for 4-24 hours in the water column and have a low release of nutrients, making them float for a long time and are therefore available to the animals for a long time. ReefPearls consists of a mixture of different pellet sizes ranging from 500-1000 microns (microns), which mimic the natural dimensions of plankton. It can be dosed easily with the help of an automatic feeder.

Reefpearls contains the essential levels of phosphates but unlike most other feedstuffs, these phosphates are in an organic form (linked to proteins and DNA) instead of inorganic phosphates (PO4).
