With this liquid phosphate removal agent, high phosphate concentrations are removed which adversely affect the growth of lower animals and calves and can cause algae pests.

About Phosphate Eliminator
Phosphate Eliminator binds phosphate and then becomes more effective than normally removed by the foamer. When added to your aquarium, it is true that phosphate is no longer available for algae. It also prevents the binding of phosphate to corals, living stone and the sand. This increases the ability of corals and lime algae to grow much faster. If the bound phosphate is not removed by the foamer within 24 hours, it is released again in your aquarium by bacterial action. This will be especially the case with a relatively high phosphate concentration. In such cases daily dosage is required.
Increased phosphate concentration in foam of the protein foamer may already be observed within a few hours after the phosphate eliminator has been dosed.

With long-term high phosphate concentrations, this results in the binding of phosphate to stones and sand. When the phosphate concentration decreases (using this supplement) these phosphates are released again. Or to put it differently, the aquarium decoration is getting cleaner with respect to phosphate. These released phosphates are then removed again by the protein foamer.

Operating Instructions Salifert Phosphate Remover
Shake before use.
Regular maintenance as a precautionary measure:
Dosage 5 ml per 100 liters per week.
To reduce increased phosphate concentration:
Dosage 5 ml per 100 liters per day. Test on phosphate every 1 or 2 weeks.

Keep out of reach of children.
In case of contact with eyes rinse with plenty of water.
Only for aquarium-hobby use.
Not for human consumption (directly or indirectly)!
