The pH value in a marine aquarium has a huge influence on the growth of corals, lime algae and other biological processes. The test accurately measures values between pH 7.4 and 8.6.

Enough for 50 tests

To get a good picture of the pH value, we recommend measuring the pH just before the aquarium lighting comes on. The pH is then generally the lowest. A value lower than 7.7 is too low and can cause problems. If you measure at a later time of the day, 9 out of 10 times the pH is always above 7.8.

The most important thing is therefore the lower limit of the pH.
