Potassium plays a vital role in seawater, similar to calcium, with a concentration of approximately 390 mg/L.

K-Balance contains a variety of potassium salts in high concentrations. Our tests across different tanks have consistently shown improvements in both color and growth after just a few days of dosing.

• Polyp expansion occurs within a short period.
• Enhances growth and reduces discoloration in all corals, especially SPS varieties such as Montipora, Stylopora, Seriatopora, Pocillopora, and Acropora.
• Recommended for use in any tank system.

Low potassium levels exhibit the following characteristics:

• Montipora ceases growth, and colors appear dull to gray; good coloring without potassium is not achievable.
• Pocillopora and Stylopora may appear as if they have been out of water, with polyps retracted and colors appearing washed out and lacking depth.
• Blue Acropora also display washed-out colors.
• Seriatopora can develop complete tissue necrosis within just a few days.
• Turbinaria Reniformis will stop growing altogether.

Keep in mind: Do not exceed the dosage indicated on the label, as the product is highly concentrated. We recommend regularly checking potassium levels, similar to how you would monitor calcium or magnesium.
