ATI Essentials SPS #1 – 2700 ml High-concentration two-part system for SPS coral growth
Highly concentrated two-part dosing system for SPS-dominated reef aquariums.
ATI® Essentials SPS is a state-of-the-art two-part system developed for optimal growth, stable metabolism, and strong coloration in SPS-dominated reef aquariums. Based on tens of thousands of ATI® ICP laboratory analyses, the formulation has been continuously refined to ensure maximum stability, precision, and biological balance.
The system provides a complete supply of all major elements and a balanced baseline supply of essential trace elements without accumulation. Due to its high concentration, ATI® Essentials SPS is approximately 3.6 times more concentrated than classic Balling two-part systems and is ready to use without preparation.
Supplied Elements

Dosage Guidelines
Dose equal or very similar amounts of both solutions. The dosage should replace the daily consumption of alkalinity and calcium.
Alkalinity consumption
| Daily Consumption (°dKH) | Dosage #1 (per 100 L) |
|---|---|
| 0.1 | 1 ml |
| 0.5 | 5 ml |
| 1.0 | 10 ml |
Calcium consumption
| Daily Consumption (mg/l) | Dosage #2 (per 100 L) |
|---|---|
| 1 | 1.4 ml |
| 2.5 | 3.5 ml |
| 5 | 7 ml |
| 10 | 14 ml |
Important Notes
- Crystallization may occur in #1 KH Complex at low temperatures
- Crystals dissolve by warming to approximately 45 °C in a water bath
- For operating temperatures below 20 °C, dilute both solutions 1:1 with RO water
