AF Component Concentrate 3x1l needed to maintain proper chemical balance in a marine aquarium
Component 1+2+3+ Concentrate is a modern and convenient solution for marine aquarists, based on the well‑proven Balling method. It allows preparation of three essential solutions—Component 1+, 2+ and 3+—needed to maintain proper chemical balance in a marine aquarium.
Each 1‑liter bottle yields 5 liters of working solution, and its concentrated formula fits compact, lightweight containers—saving space in your aquarium room.
Key Benefits:
- Compact format: Small, easy to store and transport.
- Simple preparation: Dissolves in RO/DI water to make 5 L of ready‑to‑use solutions.
- Balanced elements: Provides essential macro‑ and micronutrients for coral growth and coloration.
How to Prepare 5 L:
- Component 1+: Shake bottle, pour into clean 5 L container, refill ⅓ with RO/DI, mix and pour. Repeat if needed. Top up to 5 L and mix.
- Component 2+: Same procedure using warm (≈40 °C) RO/DI water. If salt crystals remain, repeat rinse and wait for full dissolution. Cooling and sedimentation are normal.
- Component 3+: Follow same steps with room‑temperature RO/DI water.
Dosage:
For a moderately stocked reef, dose ≈25 ml daily per 100 L. Divide into smaller doses for stability. Always dose equal amounts of all three unless testing shows imbalance. Monitor calcium, magnesium and KH. If one runs low, supplement with Ca Plus, Mg Plus or KH Plus until levels balance.
This concentrate is five times stronger than standard solution. Dose with extreme caution if used undiluted. Sudden water changes can harm livestock.
Element Increases (per 10 ml per 100 L):
- Component 1+: +9 ppm Ca
- Component 2+: +1.2 dKH
- Component 3+: +0.76 ppm Mg
If used undiluted, Component 2 may produce harmless white gel residue. Place pump outlet in high flow zone to aid dissolution.
Important: For aquarium use only. Keep out of reach of children. Regularly maintain dosing lines due to high concentration.
