The UV-C lamp effectively removes single-celled algae, ensuring crystal clear water in both salt and freshwater aquariums. By inactivating bacteria and other aquatic parasites, it significantly lowers the risk of infection for your fish.
The Aqua Medic Helix Max 2.0 18W is designed with a controlled flow of water and a large volume to maximize effectiveness. Water flows through a spiral around the quartz tube, allowing for better utilization of UV radiation compared to standard units.
With 360° rotatable hose connections, you can easily attach it at any angle, saving space during installation. Additionally, the unit disassembles effortlessly, making it simple to clean the inner spiral.
This product is user-friendly and safe, thanks to the integrated window. All versions of the Helix Max 2.0 come with a high-frequency ballast, which enhances the lifespan and efficiency of the UV lamp. It also includes connections for hose attachment.
