The AF Nitrate Test Pro is your go-to solution for quickly measuring nitrate ions in marine aquariums. Nitrate in water is the final product of biological filtration. When nitrate levels get too high, they can lead to the growth of unwanted algae, which is something we all want to avoid. For reef aquariums, it is recommended to maintain nitrate levels between 2-5 mg/l (ppm). This test kit is equipped with enough reagents to carry out 40 tests of nitrate concentration.
