CorAffix Cyanoacrylate Adhesive is the perfect solution for all your aquascaping needs. Its honey-like viscosity allows for easy application without any drips or a messy finish. CorAffix remains flexible, creating a strong yet resilient bond, making it ideal for attaching stony corals, gorgonians, and other sessile invertebrates to live rock in your reef aquarium. You can enhance your results by using it alongside AquaStik Epoxy Putty, which helps to form a superior bond between live rock and your newly-attached coral. Best of all, it cures in just 20 seconds.

CorAffix Gel is an excellent choice for securing coral fragments onto plugs. Its thick gel consistency makes it super convenient for attaching frags of stony corals, zoanthids, and some soft corals to plugs or bases.

For “frags”:

• Place a spot of CorAffix on a base rock or coral plug.
• Press the frag onto it and wet with seawater to accelerate hardening.
• It cures within 20 seconds.

For aquascaping:

• Do not insert the bottle underwater.
• Place a spot of CorAffix on the underside of a coral above water and quickly insert the coral into seawater to form a skin.
• Repeat this process, forming layers until you have enough for a secure attachment.
• Press the coral into position underwater, allowing CorAffix to spread between the coral and the attachment point.
• Hold it in place for 30 seconds. If it does not create a secure bond, apply another layer of CorAffix and try again.

General Information: CorAffix is an ethyl cyanoacrylate bonding compound with a viscosity similar to honey. It is great for attaching stony corals, gorgonians, and other sessile invertebrates in natural positions on live rock in aquariums. It is also useful for attaching coral “frags” in coral culturing. For larger coral heads, use it with AquaStik Epoxy Putty (#400695, #400609). First, apply freshly mixed AquaStik on live rock. Then, push the coral base into the AquaStik and remove the coral, leaving an impression of the coral base in the AquaStik. Allow the AquaStik to harden for 20 minutes. Next, apply CorAffix to the coral base and press it into the impression made in the AquaStik. This will create a secure bond in just 20 seconds.

Note: Please keep this product out of the reach of children and pets. It is recommended to wear goggles and gloves when using CorAffix. This product can bond skin, eyes, and mouth. In case of skin contact, wash with soapy water for several minutes.
