Coral Essentials Coral Power Potassium is a concentrated solution of Potassium Chloride, boasting an impressive 150,000 ppm concentration designed specifically for marine aquariums. This product is crucial for the healthy growth of both soft and hard corals, enhancing the vibrant red and pink colors in corals, and promoting the growth of coral exoskeletons.

Potassium is one of the fundamental elements for marine tanks. The ideal concentration should range between 380 and 450 mg/l (ppm). It plays a significant role in coral skeleton formation and various cellular processes. Additionally, it is utilized by zooxanthellae, as it is directly involved in the biosynthesis of glucose through photosynthesis.

It is important to note that variances above and below the recommended dosing can be adjusted based on your tank conditions and the density of corals present.

Dosage Rate: We recommend starting with 1 drop per day for every 100 liters of tank water. Please do not exceed 2 drops per day for each 100 liters in a heavily stocked system.

For advanced aquarists, 0.1 ml (or 2 drops) will increase the potassium levels by 0.15 ppm (mg/L) for each 100 liters of tank water. If you are aware of the potassium depletion rate in your aquarium, please adjust your dosing accordingly.
