The pH probe features a BNC connector. Double junction probes are designed with a second vessel inside the main electrolyte, which includes a second internal junction. This design ensures that even if aquarium water starts to enter the first compartment, it must still pass through the second junction before it can affect the electrolyte surrounding the reference electrode.
