When to use eSHa TRIMARIN? Making the right diagnosis is the first step toward successful and quick treatment of a disease. Most fish diseases are highly contagious and spread rapidly, so it is advisable to act quickly. There are several early warning signs that you should monitor, as they can indicate the onset of a disease.
- Skin: The skin serves as the first line of protection and immune system for your fish. It usually shows the initial signs of illness or infection. Be vigilant for any discoloration.
- Fins: Observe the fins. If they are pressed closely to the fish’s body, this may indicate a disease or deficiency, especially in livebearing fish.
- Swimming behavior: Unusual swimming patterns or rocking can be indicative of a disease.
Which fish can I treat with eSHa TRIMARIN?
All seawater fish can be treated with TRIMARIN. However, please do not use it with tropical or cold water fish, and be cautious not to overdose on sensitive species.
Is eSHa TRIMARIN safe to use with lower animals?
No, TRIMARIN should not be used in aquariums that contain lower animals such as anemones, corals, and molluscs. These creatures must be removed from the aquarium prior to using TRIMARIN. If you need to treat diseases in an aquarium with lower animals, consider using eSHa OODINEX, which targets a narrower spectrum of diseases in seawater fish but is safe for use with lower animals.
What does eSHa TRIMARIN treat?
TRIMARIN addresses the organisms responsible for a variety of diseases and symptoms (see the diagram below) in seawater fish. Although the symptoms can often appear similar, it is not always straightforward to determine the exact disease affecting your fish. Fortunately, the risk of selecting the wrong treatment is minimal since TRIMARIN covers a broad range of issues. Nevertheless, it is important to remember that TRIMARIN is not a cure-all; it will not resolve every ailment that may affect your fish. A 20 ml bottle is suitable for treating a maximum of 800 liters of seawater.
