For corals to thrive, all these elements must be available in balanced proportions. Red Sea’s SKELETAL ELEMENTS is a specially formulated powder supplement that encompasses all elements from Foundation A, B, and C, along with Red Sea’s Coral Colors A and B (potassium, boron, iodine, and bromine) in the precise ratio found in coral skeletons. While there may be slight variations among different coral species, the average ratio among these elements remains fairly consistent.

By supplementing these elements in a fixed ratio based on calcium uptake, you can ensure that your corals receive the necessary replenishment according to their metabolic needs.

SKELETAL ELEMENTS should be dosed either daily or weekly, depending on your aquarium type and the measured calcium uptake. Over time, it is possible for an imbalance to develop among the foundation elements. If you are dosing daily, it is recommended to test all foundation elements weekly and adjust with the individual A, B, and C supplements as needed. Conversely, if you are dosing weekly, testing should occur monthly with adjustments made using the individual A, B, and C supplements.
