Red Sea Foundation KH / Alkalinity (Alk) Foundation B 1000 ml is a carbonate and buffer complex for balanced formation of coral skeleton
Calcium, magnesium, strontium, and carbonate are essential elements that make up coral skeletons. For optimal coral health and growth, these elements need to be present in balanced proportions.
The KH / Alkalinity of the Red Sea is a mix of carbonate and other buffers found in seawater, which help maintain the proper alkalinity and pH levels. This is an integral part of the complete Red Sea Reef Care program.

Concentration:
Liquid supplement: 1 ml increases the Alk level of 100 liters (25 gal) by 0.036 meq/l (0.1 dKH).
Powder supplement: 1 g increases the Alk level of 100 liters (25 gal) by 0.12 meq/l (0.33 dKH). One kg makes 10 L of stock solution.
