The pH value in a marine aquarium plays a significant role in the growth of corals, lime algae, and various biological processes. This test kit accurately measures pH values between 7.4 and 8.6.

With enough solution for 50 tests, you can easily monitor the health of your aquarium. To get the best picture of the pH value, we recommend measuring just before the aquarium lighting turns on, as the pH is generally at its lowest at that time. A pH value lower than 7.7 is considered too low and may lead to issues. Conversely, if you measure later in the day, you will find that 9 out of 10 times, the pH will be above 7.8.

Therefore, the most crucial aspect to keep in mind is the lower limit of the pH.
