What is it? What is it for? Activated carbon is designed to eliminate toxins and other unwanted substances from your aquarium. It is ultra-pure and has been thoroughly lab-tested at Triton Labs.

How do I use Activated Carbon? Before using the carbon, it is important to rinse it in RODI water to eliminate any fine particles and dust. The recommended dosage is 100ml of Activated Carbon for every 100 liters of aquarium water, and it should be replaced every 4 to 6 weeks. You can place the carbon in a bag in an area with high water flow or in a reactor. If you choose to use a reactor, ensure that the flow is slow enough to prevent tumbling of the media.
