The Alkatronic Pro is a fully upgraded product designed for serious reef enthusiasts, allowing for automatic monitoring and stabilization of alkalinity, pH, and now temperature in your reef system. We have taken the feedback from our users to enhance the original Alkatronic, and it is set to become the standard for both commercial aquarists and everyday reef keepers.

Alkalinity (KH) refers to the concentration of various negatively charged ionic compounds, such as carbonates, bicarbonates, borates, and hydroxides, in aquarium water. Keeping the correct alkalinity levels in your aquarium is crucial for maintaining a stable marine environment. If KH levels drop too low, the pH of your aquarium water can fluctuate significantly, which can lead to stress or even loss of your aquatic life.

In marine aquariums, an alkalinity level between 7 and 10 dKH is typically recommended to maintain a stable pH. The Alkatronic Professional (AT PRO) makes it easy to monitor and adjust KH levels with minimal maintenance on your part, giving you more time to enjoy your vibrant, healthy aquarium inhabitants.

The AT PRO not only tests for KH but also for two other critical parameters that can pose serious risks to your aquatic life: pH and temperature. Users can quickly access the latest test results or initiate tests on the go using our voice command feature, all without needing to pick up the phone. The Alkatronic PRO is the first KH controller on the market that can test and control freshwater systems, including KOI, planted tanks, and hydroponic systems.

The Alkatronic Professional is an all-in-one, standalone product designed to monitor and stabilize alkalinity levels in reef aquarium systems. It automatically corrects any KH deviations by dosing carbonates from its own dosing pump or by activating a Powertronic socket (not included).
