A nano-tech Bio Block is carefully manufactured to guarantee optimum quality and a porous structure and then effectively regulate the quality and stability of the water.

Each bio-block has an area of ​​1,080 M² (11,635ft²) for the housing of bacterial colonies, this corresponds to approximately 10 kg of live stone.

Grow different types of bacteria and fungi, such as bacteria nitrificanti, yeasts, procarioti phototrofi, etc on the large surface of the Bio Blocks.
The bio-media ‘nano-tech’ of the Maxspect are made from 100% small ceramic beads and are completely inert. A ceramic bead has an area of ​​2.45 cm², which means that each block has an area of ​​more than 1,080 M² (11,635ft²), which corresponds to approximately 10 kg of live stone.
